Maria is a Trends and Innovation consultant at Mintel, where she supports food and drink clients with tailored research in product development and positioning. Working with R&D and marketing departments, she provides analyses on product innovation, market trends and consumer research.
Raised by Italian and Chinese parents, Maria has always been passionate about food. This led to experiences in catering companies and restaurants along with completing The Grand Diplome from French culinary school Le Cordon Bleu. She has applied her passion throughout her career, by being a regular contributor of food and drink articles to various publications in addition to working at a food PR company where she liaised with restaurants across London. On the side she has also maintained a food blog for the last six years reviewing restaurants and sharing recipes.
